Description: This year, as part of the 10th D&G Wild Spring Festival, Loch Ken Holiday Park are offering a package with RSPB Scotland. Whether you are staying elsewhere in the area or at the holiday park, come to the events to see, hear and learn more about the red kites and other nature by loch Ken.

Talk - (Forked) Tales from the Trail
An illustrated talk by RSPB’s Calum Murray, on red kites in Dumfries & Galloway. Talk will last for 1 hour, covering aspects of the bird's ecology, extinction, reintroduction and conservation, as well as places to enjoy on the kite trail. £2 per person (money will be split evenly between hall funds and RSPB Scotland).

Guided walk - Early Bird Chorus by Loch Ken
Listen to early morning birdsong in and around the holiday park, before hot drink & cake. BOOKING ESSENTIAL, £2 per person (donation to RSPB Scotland).
