> Red kite Roost Watches

  Sundays, 8 & 15 January 2012  BOOKING ESSENTIAL

  - 2.45pm to 4.30pm. Location on Galloway Kite Trail - to be confirmed on booking. 

   Join the RSPB community liaison officer to see red kites as they come in to roost together, in woods around the trail. These birds sometimes gather in a flying circus before settling at dusk, particularly on windy evenings.

  Grade: Easy (Moderate if some walking is involved), distance: 0 to 1 mile (max)
