Open Day at Red Kite Feeding Station (Sat, 2 April)

FREE entry to the red kite feeding station at Laurieston. There are few experiences like watching dozens of kites in a food fight! Watch as they zoom down for their share, or turn aerobatics in the sky up above. We’ll be on hand in case you have any questions, and have telescopes and binoculars you can borrow.

The farm owner (Anne Johnstone) has kindly permitted RSPB Scotland to run this event, providing free entry but also allowing the charity to raise funds for the project. There will be a tombola on the day, with prizes for adults and children. There will also be opportunity to learn how to look after nature at home and become a member and support our conservation work.
