Bridge of Dee Station Holidays
Details
Experience the luxury of staying in our 1957 converted carriage situated in the Old Railway Station at Bridge of Dee. Two double rooms with private facilities and a children's bunk room. Fully fitted kitchen and beautifully appointed lounge area. Loads of play area in a safe environment and fabulous views over the local countryside. An unmissable experience.

Alternatively stay in our luxurious double room with attached wet room on a B&B basis .

The railway carriage was built in 1957 by the Gloucester Carriage & Wagon Company, diagram 181 Type BSK (Second class brake corridor) running number E351089.

It was allocated to the Eastern Region of BR and ran between London and other East Coast routes, based at Cricklewood North London. It was withdrawn from service in 1975 and converted for use as a Mess Coach for a three part maintenance team and renumbered ADB 975465. It was allocated to Toton depot near Nottingham, but was also based near Paddington for a time and at St Phillips Marsh, Bristol.

We located it in Stoke on Trent in 2009 and had it transported by road to Bridge of Dee.
